Mr. Doughty is a graduate of Tulane University Law School (summa cum laude), where he finished second in his class overall and first in Louisiana law studies. A member of the Tulane Law Review, he served on the Board of Student Editors. He is a past member of the Louisiana Law Institute and also serves as Chairman of a Louisiana Disciplinary Board Hearing Committee. Since 1990, he has served as the civil Assistant District Attorney for the Fifth Judicial District. He is an experienced trial attorney, concentrating on defense and commercial litigation.
